Highwood Perennial Nurseries has been established on this site for 30yrs +.
I took over in 2005 and my partner, Steve joined in 2013.
We have a great passion for our plants and it is very much a way of life, not just a job for us.
The extreme 100mph winds, earlier this year took the poly tunnel
again! However with the help of family we are pretty much back on track. The constant rain has been challenging - lots of rotting/damping off, combining this with peat free compost will result in delays on a number of perennial lines.
The recent good weather is finally letting us get into the garden; we are strong on Perennials, Alpines, Starter Shrubs and Basket/Container plants.
We have already started making up Hanging Baskets and Refills are welcome.
